After finishing his studies in economics, he moved to Tunisia, North Africa 1992. For the first few years he studied Arabic and French and worked at a local import/export company. During this time he met his wife, Jean, and they together decided to continue live and work in North Africa. 1997 he opened Strale Consulting, focusing on the export of local authentic products. For the next five years he gained a rich experience working closely with local Tunisian manufacturers ensuring timely delivery of quality products, mainly to European and American importers helping them navigate through potential legal and cultural pitfalls. 2002 the Strale family moved to Algeria and Daniel started up Connimpex. The company's focus has been to provide services and consulting to international companies wanting to establish themselves in North Africa. Since 2009 Daniel is studying international business, specifically international key account management.
